What to include in your email
Things that help us solve it on the first reply:
- The URL of the job application page (if the issue is on a specific ATS).
- Which browser and Jobyfi version you're on (popup footer → "v0.1.x" or similar).
- What you expected vs what happened.
- If the cover letter is the issue, paste the output — we won't store it.
- Screenshots help, but they're optional.
Common questions
Most of what people email us about has a one-click fix inside the extension.
- I want to cancel my subscription +
- Open the Jobyfi popup → Dashboard tab → click the 'Manage' button on the Pro card. Stripe's customer portal opens in a new tab. Cancel from there in one click — no email needed, no retention questions, billing stops at the end of the current period.
- I already paid but Jobyfi shows Free +
- This usually happens when you reinstall the extension, switch browsers, or use a fresh Chrome profile. Your subscription still exists on our side — click 'Already paid? Restore Pro' inside the popup. Enter the email you paid with, and you'll get a one-click reactivation link.
- Autofill stopped working on a specific job site +
- ATSs change their forms every few weeks. Send us the URL of the broken application page and a short description of what didn't fill. Selector fixes usually ship the same day for tenants we already support.
- Jobyfi doesn't support the job site I'm using +
- Email us the site URL and (if you have time) one or two example job pages. We add new ATSs every week and queue them based on how often they're requested.
- The cover letter isn't sounding like me +
- Open the popup → Profile tab → 'Voice & personality'. Set a tone, paste 1–3 paragraphs of your own writing as samples, list signature phrases you actually use and phrases you'd never use. Re-generate the letter and the difference is usually clear.
- How do I delete my data? +
- Everything lives in your browser. Profile tab → 'Reset profile' wipes resume, fields, custom answers, and voice settings. Apps and Letters tabs have 'Clear all'. Uninstalling Jobyfi wipes everything else. We have nothing of yours on our side once your local store is cleared.

- • We don't run a chatbot. A human reads your email.
- • We don't share your email with third parties. It goes into the inbox above and stays there.
- • We don't have a phone line, a ticket system, or office hours in a different timezone with nobody home. Just email.
- • If we can't fix something, we tell you. We don't pretend an issue is resolved when it isn't.
